After a few minutes, she returned and told us that the manager had comped the meal and we left. Our server then asked if I wanted my tacos and I told her they arrived cold. Shortly thereafter, it began to rain so we brought one leftover dish inside to be boxed to-go. When she returned to the table, she told us the manager would be out shortly to speak with us because the food was so late but he never showed up. After an hour, the food arrived and two of the entrees were cold. Our server seemed to have disappeared and after over 40 mins she returned to tell us the food SHOULD be out shortly. shortly thereafter however, our server informed us that they had to bake the pita bread and we could have pita chips instead, so we did and the chips took 10 mins to arrive. Drinks were prompt and the appetizer followed. We were seated quickly outside and despite our server taking quite a while to come to our table, we ordered drinks and a hummus appetizer, and entrees. We decided to eat here since it seemed healthy and convenient. This negative experience of ours could have been avoided. Hopefully they act sooner than later and nip this in the bud before things go really downhill.įront of house staff should be properly informed AND communicative to guests regarding their dog policy for outdoor dining. It is my hope that the owner and general manager take my words to heart so that future patrons do not have their meal ruined by this rude “manager.” Her behavior is going to cause this wonderful restaurant to lose business (and lower employee morale), I’m sad to say. I suggest you visit a different True Food location until this AGM is replaced. I have worked in fine dining many years, as has my entire family, and I rarely leave negative feedback. Her behavior toward my family and me was in no way appropriate for an assistant general manager, let alone customer service in general, and her poor attitude and lack of empathy was a complete turn-off in regard to our returning for a future meal. Their new AGM is not a match for this restaurant whatsoever and. We were thrilled until poor management and attitude stepped in.
